Phosphate feed additiive application
It is mainly used as a mineral element additive to supplement phosphorus and potassium in feed, especially in fish feed. Phosphorus is the main component of bones and teeth, but also the main component of nucleoprotein and various enzymes in animals, involved in glucose, fat, protein metabolism, animal phosphorus deficiency will lead to calcium in cartilage precipitation obstruction, causing abnormal tooth development, osteoporosis or softening, loss of appetite, heterophilia, paralysis and other diseases. Potassium participates in the regulation of osmotic pressure and acid-base balance, participates in nerve impulse conduction, muscle contraction, oxygen and carbon dioxide transport, acts as an agonist and cofactor in many enzyme reactions, and plays an important role in cell absorption and protein synthesis, carbohydrate metabolism, and maintaining the normal activities of heart and kidney tissues.
80% of the phosphorus in animals is present in bones and teeth, and the rest of the phosphorus is in soft tissues and body fluids, which is composed of phosphoproteins, nucleic acids and phospholipids and participates in the metabolism of many substances, participates in carbohydrate metabolism, and regulates the acid-base balance of the body. Phosphorus deficiency occurs with the same symptoms as calcium deficiency, rickets occurs in young pigs, osteochondrosis occurs in adult animals, decreased appetite, slow growth, emaciation, joint stiffness, muscle weakness, reproductive abnormalities, and paralysis. Factors affecting phosphorus absorption, in addition to factors affecting calcium absorption, the presence of phosphorus in feed is also an important factor affecting the body's absorption of phosphorus. Inorganic phosphorus in feed can be directly absorbed by the intestine, while organophosphorus needs to be hydrolyzed by enzymes to become inorganic phosphorus, which is then absorbed by the intestine. More than 90% of the phosphorus contained in plant feed is in the form of phosphorus phytate, and the utilization rate of phosphorus phytate in pigs is less than 40%; The phosphorus content measured by chemical analysis of feed is total phosphorus, not the available amount of pigs, and it is generally believed that pigs can only use 30%~50% of the total phosphorus in plant feed. In grain and bran feed, the phosphorus content is more, but it cannot meet the needs, and inorganic phosphorus should be added to the feed to meet the needs of phosphorus.
Phosphate feed additive is an ideal phosphorus source for fish and shrimp feed (especially young fish and shrimp), 100% water solubility can ensure the full use of phosphorus by fish and shrimp aquatic animals, not only reduce the cost of aquaculture, but also reduce the water pollution caused by the loss of phosphorus sources in the breeding process, and is more suitable for environmental protection requirements.
